Answers to your questions.
Everything you need to know before getting started.
What is the Google Review Pad?
A small countertop stand with an NFC chip and a QR code. Your customer taps their phone on it or scans the code and lands directly on your Google review page — no searching for your business, no extra steps.
Is it really free?
Yes. The pad is free; you only pay shipping: $5 per pad in Canada, $20 per pad to the USA. With our Local Presence plan, shipping is included.
Why is it free?
We'd rather you see results before trusting us with more. Many businesses that try the pad later choose our full management, but there's no obligation.
How do I set it up?
It takes about 10 seconds. When you receive your pad, scan its QR code, fill in the short Marketing Fuel activation form with your business, and you're ready to collect your first reviews.
Does it work with every smartphone?
Yes. Every smartphone can scan a QR code with its camera, and most recent iPhone and Android phones also support the tap (NFC). The pad has both, so no customer is left out.
Does my customer need a Google account?
Yes, Google requires an account to post a review. Most smartphone users already have one through Gmail, YouTube or Google Maps.
Does the pad collect my customers' data?
No. The chip only sends a link to your review page. It collects no personal information.
Do I need a Google Business Profile?
Yes, reviews are attached to your Google Business Profile. Don't have one yet? Tell us and we'll help you create it.
Is the pad available in French and English?
Yes. Choose the French or English version at checkout, or order both.
Can I order more than one pad?
Yes — one per counter, cash register, table or location. Each pad is free; shipping is charged per pad. For more than 10 pads, contact us.
How long does delivery take?
Your pad arrives within 7 days, in Canada and the USA.
Is asking customers for reviews allowed by Google?
Yes. Google allows businesses to ask customers for reviews. What Google forbids is paying for reviews, offering rewards for them, or only asking happy customers. The pad invites every customer the same way.
